KnowOne – Transparent

KnowOne is the new alt-rock / pop-punk project from artist Jacob Reddy, marking a shift from uplifting indie pop-rock into something far more raw, honest, and emotionally exposed.

Previously known for upbeat hooks and feel-good energy — with appearances at Glastonbury and shows alongside Lottery Winners, Reverend & The Makers and Space — Reddy’s new identity digs beneath the surface. KnowOne is not a reinvention of success, but a confrontation of self.

Described as “Creative Chaos,” the project blends soaring choruses, loud guitars and punk energy with deeply personal lyrics exploring ADHD, identity, uncertainty and self-doubt. It’s music built for the “KnowBodies” — those who feel out of place, overlooked, or like they’re always watching life happen for everyone else.

“I wanted to create music that feels completely authentic to who I am,” says KnowOne. “The uncertainty, the frustration, the chaos — but also the hope that comes from embracing it.”

That philosophy drives the new single Transparent, released June 5th. A powerful alt-rock anthem, it explores the gap between who we present to the world and who we really are underneath — and the pressure to appear “fine” while quietly struggling.

At its heart, Transparent is about growth, acceptance, and shared experience rather than defeat. Built around urgent energy and huge choruses, it speaks directly to anyone who has ever felt stuck in the background while others move forward.

“It’s about feeling lost in identity and watching others grow while feeling still,” says KnowOne. “But it’s also about acceptance and change.”
