The Pluggin Baby Radio Show is a 2 hour weekly guitar-based music show that features the most exciting independent talent as well as established bands who have fired up Emma’s musical passion since she started her radio career back in 1988. Acoustic sets and interviews with familiar artists and classic tracks, as well as introductions to fresh new bands should keep ears and the imagination fired up with its weekly offering. As Emma shines the spotlight on her favourite artists and encounters from over the years; exhilarating new sounds will lie seamlessly side by side with the likes of “Shinedown, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Paramore, Stereophonics, Jimmy Eat World, Placebo, and of course Muse!”, the latter a band openly beloved by the lady herself. “So good, I named my company after one of their songs!” she declared. THE PLUGGIN’ BABY RADIO SHOW is already whipping up excitement in the same way Emma has over the years with the likes of Kerrang! Radio, Metro FM, Hallam FM, Power FM, Chiltern Radio, Heart, Galaxy, Juice and many more. Each week there’s a Featured Album and a couple of Killer Covers, where Emma plays mostly pop songs being covered by rock bands. It's a real nostalgia trip every time and if you're like me, a true lover of music, it won't take you long to fall in love with the show and all the personal memories it holds for every individual.

Plays 80s Jazz Funk & Soul

Introducing Clive Brady, a seasoned DJ with a passion for soul and funk music that spans decades. Clive's journey into the world of radio began in 1976, during the disco boom, when he started DJing as a mobile DJ. For nine years, he honed his craft on the road, perfecting his ability to read the crowd and keep the dance floor packed. In 1985, Clive took a pivotal step in his career when he joined Radio Thamesmead, one of the very first community stations in the UK, located in South East London. Here, he received training in newsroom editing and news reading, before delving into broadcast studio tech training. Clive quickly found his place as a regular presenter on Radio Thamesmead, showcasing his talent and passion for broadcasting. However, Clive's journey didn't stop there. He was soon approached by London's legendary FM pirate soul station, LWR, where he became a familiar voice on the city's pirate radio soul scene throughout the late 1980s. His infectious energy and love for soul music made him a standout presence on the airwaves. Throughout his career, Clive has also lent his expertise to several commercial radio stations in the east of England. Additionally, he served as a broadcast advisor to the Royal Air Force during the setup of their own base radio station. Clive trained numerous on-air DJs in presenting techniques and studio operations, leaving a lasting impact on the industry. Despite his varied experiences, Clive's true passion lies in the music of the 70s and 80s, particularly jazz funk and soul. "Music has always been a huge passion of mine, and 70/80’s is the music I grew up with. There were some great bands around in those decades, some of which are still performing today." Outside of work, Ben finds happiness in running his small automated radio station, which plays love songs and chill-out tunes close to his heart.
